Robert Hardy is Executive Producer for EQ Media Group Canada. He is a seasoned television writer & producer, and showrunner of EQ Media Canada’s series Big Timber (HISTORY). Robert has extensive experience in documentary, factual, comedy and drama. He played a key role in the creation of series like Rust Valley Restorers (NETFLIX/HISTORY), Ice Vikings (VIASAT/BEYOND), Keeping Canada Alive (CBC), Sophie & Shannon (W Network) and Border Security: America’s Front Line (NETFLIX/Nat Geo). Robert has worked with top networks and studios including DISCOVERY, CORUS, CBC, TELUS, Bell Media and Cirque du Soleil. A former SVP at Entertainment One and executive at Bell Media, Robert has a background in advertising & communications and has served as a co-founder and board member of industry organizations from Field and Post and FactualWEST to national theatre companies and film festivals.
